The Laboratory of Computational Physics is based at the Physics Faculty of ITMO University. We are focused on developing and applying numerical methods to solve fundamental and applied problems in optics, photonics, radio physics, and acoustics. Our goal is also to train high-class specialists at the intersection of physics, applied mathematics, and computer science, organized within a dedicated track in computational physics at the faculty. Additionally, we gather teams of employees and students to work on open-source projects for the development and dissemination of scientifically intensive software. We collaborate with research groups at ITMO and other universities, undertake commercial orders for software development, and are open to academic and industrial contacts.
